Friends, do we have a new graphic novel for you!

ARN ANDERSON: MY LIFE AS THE ENFORCER is now on Kickstarter at www.ArnComic.com! This 128-page graphic novel is a biographical graphic novel (aka: it's a true story) chronicling the early days and then in-ring career of professional wrestling legend Arn Anderson -- the legendary founder of "The Four Horsemen," the inventor of the spinebuster, and more!

This book is co-written by me and Arn himself (of course), illustrated by the tag-team talent of Shawn Daley and Colm Griffin, lettered by Justin Birch, and edited by Drena Jo.

As of this writing we've already unlocked THREE Stretch Goals on the campaign, too!

This, admittedly, isn't quite my normal horror-based fare, but it's a book I'm exceptionally excited about: As a fan of professional wrestling, this is a story I'm very honored to be involved in telling... and as a comic creator, it's a simply gorgeous (and entertaining) graphic novel with Shawn and Colm weaving back and forth between the "present" and "past" sequences throughout the story.

If you're a fan of good graphic novels (which, clearly, if you're getting this and reading this, you are)... I most highly encourage you to support this campaign and help us unlock the next two Stretch Goals -- at least, making this the most "international" Stretch Goal I've ever offered with signatures of creators from Canada, Ireland, and the United States!

WE PLAYIN' GAMES...

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I'm just gonna leave this right here...

This is a live shot from the play-testing of TALES OF MR. RHEE: "Punch All Monsters" that was taking place earlier today. Austin McKinley (who not only drew all of TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume 5: "Rock Star Paranoia" but is also the lead designer on the game) is currently working out a final few tweaks based on our combined notes after playing it for a bit. I think we've decided to give all of you (and Mr. Rhee) a chance to get a little health as you work your way towards trying to get the 666 points needed to win the game.

Wherever we land, expect your download of the free download of this game to be delivered RHEE-ly soon! It's A LOT of fun... and tis the season to celebrate all things horror!

Come meet the team in the Big Apple!

Hey all!

As is usually the case, I will be at New York Comic Con again this year, in Artist Alley at Table H-8 (HATE!).

What I'm RHEE-ly excited to announce share with all of you is that both illustrator Austin McKinley and editor Drena Jo will also both be joining me at Table H8 from 1:00-4:00 PM every day of the show! Whoa!

Keep in mind, Austin McKinley also illustrated stories in the TALES OF MR. RHEE OMNIBUS: ACT ONE, the NIGHTMARE WORLD OMNIBUS, BUTTS IN SEATS: THE TONY SCHIAVONE STORY, and BURIED BUT NOT DEAD... so if you have any of those books and are coming to the show, bring those for him to sign, too!

Editor extraordinaire Drena Jo also edited several of them, and will be happy to sign them for you as well!

Oh... and if you're missing any of these books and want to add them to your collection -- signed or not -- I'll have copies of them all at my table, too. Join us! Join us!

The video game is almost ready...

Finally, the video game is almost ready to release for you to download, too! Final "bug fixes" are being reviewed and ironed out... and soon you'll all be able to "Punch All Monsters" and see if you can unlock the hidden prize with the secret score!

In the meantime...

I hope you're all taking the time to treat yourself to both the TALES OF MR. RHEE OMNIBUS: ACT ONE and TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume 5. When I got my copies I finally went through and re-read both series front to back, and I remain both exceptionally proud of the work done by me and all my peers -- and more excited than ever about the next volume of TALES OF MR. RHEE.

(No spoilers, but how about that ending of TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume 5, eh? Ha-ha!)

All That Remains...

You read the last update, right?

Hey all! Dirk here! If you didn't read the last update from Source Point Press, please check your email (or you can check it on the KS page itself) about the book shipping. Some of you were erroneously sent the TPB edition of the TALES OF MR. RHEE OMNIBUS: ACT ONE rather than the KS Exclusive hardcover edition. If that's you -- fear not -- the "glitch in the shipping matrix" (as it's been described to me) has already been discovered and your HC editions are already in the process of being shipped!

If you're one of the people who got the TPB Edition on accident, you can either keep it or gift it to someone else who might appreciate it!I mean, hey, I certainly wouldn't mind you spreading the love of RHEE... but I won't fault you if you decide to keep it either. You've all been very patient in the face of global paper shortages, after all...

Video Game and Statue Updates!

The video game is going through some final testing right now, and I'll be sending you all a link to the *FREE* digital download to it soon... so make sure to keep an eye out on these messages, as the link will be in here!

For those of you who got a Mr. Rhee statue, those will be shipped out in about a week directly from the sculptor. We obviously didn't want to ship those in the boxes with those big ol' book!

Vampires and Victim Backers!

Now that RHEEv5 is finally in all your sweet little hands -- and mine -- I'm going to be diving into the scripting of TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume 6 soon... and that will include those of you who've been drawn into the book! I'll reach out to you here directly to get photos of you for your appearances and ask for your final confirmation of whether you want to be a vampire of a victim... so start thinking deep thoughts on that!

Photos! Reactions!

Now that I, too, have been able to get a copy of both the TALES OF MR. RHEE OMNIBUS: ACT ONE and TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume 5: "Rock Star Paranoia" in my hands via print editions (I told you all -- I wouldn't get mine until you all started getting yours), wow, I have to tell you, friends, it feels good to sit down and be able to so seamlessly read the first four volumes of RHEE together and all in full color. It's such a fun way to read all of "Act One" in a "binge read"... and then to be able to pick up Volume 5 -- the first volume of "Act Two" and dive into the second "mega-arc" of the series.

Without spoiling anything, RHEEv5 has more than a few surprises, and one real zinger that, in my opinion, is among the best I've ever written... so I most sincerely look forward to hearing your thoughts on Social Media as you read it... and I of course always look forward to seeing your photos of all your swag!
